Vivi Mag Main Settings

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Color Scheme

From this section you can manage the color scheme of Vivi Mag

  1. Body Color Schemes
    You can select one of available color scheme.

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Topbar section

From this section you can manage the topbar.

  1. Left columns
    You can select the element to show on left column.
    – Show the current date
    – Show the newsticker
    – Show the social icons
  2. Date format
    You can set the date format
  3. News ticker title
    You can insert the title for the news ticker
  4. News ticker category
    You can select the category of the news ticker
  5. News ticker orderby
    You can select how to order the articles.
    – Post title
    – Randomly
    – Comment count
    – Post date
  6. News ticker sort order
    You can select the order of the articles.
    – Ascending
    – Descending
  7. News ticker limit
    You can set the limit of the news ticker

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Recent posts grid

From this section you can manage recent posts grid on the homepage.

  1. Enable or disable the recent posts grid
  2. Exclude the recent posts from the main homepage article loop (if the recent posts grid is enabled)

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Trending posts grid

From this section you can manage trending posts grid on the homepage.

  1. Enable or disable the trending posts grid
  2. Insert the title of trending posts section
  3. Select the category of the trending posts
  4. Trending posts orderby
    You can select how to order the articles.
    – ID
    – Author
    – Post title
    – Post date
    – Number of comments

Vivi Mag Main Settings > General settings

From this section you can manage the general settings of Vivi Mag

  1. Enable or disable the breadcrumb
  2. Enable or disable the category title
  3. Enable or disable the searched item
  4. Enable or disable the the read more button
  5. Enable or disable the back to top button

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Single posts settings

From this section you can manage recent posts grid on the homepage.

  1. Enable or disable the post categories
  2. Enable or disable the post icon
  3. Enable or disable the author name
  4. Enable or disable the post date
  5. Enable or disable the related posts section
  6. Enable or disable the post author info box
  7. Set a different layout for the post formats

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Layouts

From this section you can manage the layouts of Vivi Mag

  1. Set a different layout for the main menu (only for the desktop devices): full width, left align or center align
  2. Set a different layout for homepage: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  3. Set a different layout for categories: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  4. Set a different layout for search result: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  5. Set a different layout for the read more button

Vivi Mag Main Settings > WooCommerce settings

From this section you can manage the settings of WooCommerce.

  1. Enable or disable the header cart
  2. Enable or disable the cross sell products on cart page
  3. Enable or disable the related products on product page
  4. Enable or disable the up sell products on product page
  5. Make linkable the product thumbnails on WooCommerce category pages
  6. Choose the layout of shop page
  7. Choose the layout of WooCommerce categories

Vivi Mag Main Settings > Copyright and social links

From this section you can manage the copyright text and social links

  1. Add the copyright text
  2. Add the link of all the major social networks
  3. Enable or disable the feed RSS button

Vivi Mag Featured links

Vivi Mag Featured links > Featured links settings

From this section you can enable the featured links section

  1. Enable or disable the featured links section

Vivi Mag Featured links > Featured Link item (max 3)

From this section you can manage the settings of each featured link

  1. Image
    you can select an image for each featured link from your WordPress media folder
  2. Title
    you can insert a title for each featured link
  3. URL
    you can insert the URL for each featured link

Vivi Mag Typography

Vivi Mag Typography > Logo

From this section you can manage the typography of the logo.

  1. Logo top margin
    You can add a space between the topmenu and the logo
  2. Logo font size
    You can set the size of logo
  3. Logo description font size
    You can set the size of logo description
  4. Description top margin
    You can add a space between the logo and the description
  5. Description top bottom
    You can add a space between the description and the main menu

Vivi Mag Typography > Menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the menu.

  1. Menu font size
    You can set the size of main menu
  2. Menu weight
    You can choose the font weight for the menu
  3. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase menu

Vivi Mag Typography > Content

From this section you can manage the typography of the content

Vivi Mag Typography > Headlines

From this section you can manage the typography of the headlines

  1. Headlines font size
    You can set the size of each headline (h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6)
  2. Headlines weight
    You can choose the font weight for the headlines
  3. Headlines transform
    You can display an uppercase title

Vivi Mag Typography > Post meta

  1. Font size
    You can set the size of post meta
  2. Text transform
    You can display the post meta in uppercase

Vivi Mag PostBlocks

Vivi Mag PostBlocks > Vivi Mag postBlock item (max 2)

From these sections you can manage the settings of each featured link

  1. Category
    you can select the category of this postblock
  2. Category title
    you can hide the category title
  3. Layout
    you can select the layout of this postblock (module 1, module 2) or set Disable to disable the post block

How to manage the post formats

When you choose YES under Vivi Mag Main Settings > General Settings > Post Format, please follow the instructions below to configure properly these post formats:

  • Link post format use the post title as link name and the first link on the post content as link, if available, or the post permalink.
  • Quote post format use the post title as author name and the post content as author quote.

How to translate a WordPress theme

We suggest Poedit, to translate Vivi Mag theme. It’s available for free on poedit.net.

Open Poedit, go to File > New from POT file and choose vivi-mag.pot , under vivi-mag/languages/ and choose your native language.

When you’ve finished, upload bot files with your language code (for example it_IT.po and it_IT.mo ), under the language folder of Vivi Mag using a FTP client.

Alternately you can install the free WordPress plugin called Loco translate
